Are there refunds or exchanges due to weather or other reasons?No. There are no refunds or exchanges at all. Weather is out of our control and you are purchasing tickets with the understanding that it can change quickly. Additionally, all information is posted, yet subject to change. If you are concerned about attending a specific event that is weather dependant, please check our Facebook page for updates or contact us by phone 716-938-9146.

What rides can my child go on?Admission for the fair is the same for everyone 2 and over. It is not just a ride pass, therefore no refunds will be given if your child cannot go on some rides due to height or weight restrictions. Does my child need a ticket for grandstand shows?Yes, if he/she is taking a seat. All seats are assigned so there will not be extra seats. If you feel like your child will not stay on your lap the entire show, then you will need to purchase him/her a seat of their own. Otherwise, if the child will stay on your lap, you do not need to purchase a seat. For concerts, everyone entering the track area needs a ticket.

Do I need gate admission to go to a grandstand show?Yes. You need to purchase the $12 advanced sale ticket (through July 26) or pay $15 at the gate, along with the ticket for pay grandstand nights.

Can I bring a cooler?Yes! Small coolers are permitted with drinks and snacks. They are subject to being checked at the gates. No alcohol or glass.

Are pets permitted?Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed at the Fair. This includes comfort/emotional support/therapy animals. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome. This policy is for the safety of our guest as well as your furry companion. Please do not bring your pet as you will be asked to remove them from the Fair and we do not want them to be sitting in a hot vehicle. All animals (cattle, fowl, pigs, horse, etc.) at the Fair are checked by a NYS Veterinarian when they arrive on the fairgrounds. Their living conditions are checked throughout the week to ensure that the animals are safe and treated properly. All animals that do not meet the NYS Ags. and Markets standards are removed from the fairgrounds. Thank you for your understand and cooperation.

What time does the fair open daily?The gates open at 8 a.m. daily. Midway rides begin at 1:00 p.m. every day.

How late is the fair open?Rides typically stop between 10 and 11 p.m. based on the crowd. Vendors set their own schedule. Exhibition buildings are closed at 8 p.m. Most grandstand events last about 2 hours from the start time.

Do you accept credit/debit cards?Yes we now accept credit/debit cards (an additional fee applies)! Many vendors do not accept credit cards so make sure you're prepared. ATM's are on the grounds.

Do you have a "walk around pass" if I do not want to ride?"No. Our admission is $15 at the gate or $12 advanced sale prior to July 26. The rides are included but so is a huge variety of other entertainment including the 4-H and open class shows, Horses, Horses, Horses, Sea Lion Splash, Swifty Swine Racing Pigs, The Magic of Lance Gifford and more!

What is a weekly gate pass?Weekly gate passes are available for people coming regularly to enjoy the fair but do not include rides. We do NOT have a weekly pass that includes rides.

What is the age cut off for paying admission?Everyone 2 and over pays the admission price. Rides are based on height. Under 2 years old can go on the merry go round with a paid adult. Otherwise we suggest assessing the rides before buying a ride pass for an under 2 year old.

Where/when are advanced sale tickets available?Advanced sale ticket sales will start around July 1 and ends July 26 at the fairgrounds and online. All other locations are based on their hours of operation prior to July 26. Tickets are available at the fairgrounds, online at etix.com, all Cattaraugus County Bank locations, Olean area Community Banks, Cattaraugus County FCU in Little Valley and South Dayton Super Duper!

Are masks and vaccinations required?As per county, state and national guidelines, masks are not required for outside activities. It is recommended for unvaccinated individuals to continue distancing and wearing masks indoors. Fair will be conducted on the honor system and will not be requiring proof of vaccination. Our fair is 100% open! All the things you love will be back at full capacity.

How do I get a pit pass for demos/truck pulls?You must enter with a car or truck to get a pit pass. Pit passes are $30.00 and you must sign the insurance waiver. No one under 16 permitted in the pits!
